Hopeless Magic by A.K. Koonce

Well, happy Saturday my friends. It’s my humpday so, I only got two more to go!

Let’s see, we should go with a small but pretty little book. Let’s begin.

If life really was a fairy tale, Zakara would never be the damsel in distress. She’d be a thief, and Prince Charming wouldn’t have a clue how to steal the heart of the conniving criminal.

Zakara saves not one, but three men locked inside the tallest tower. Her first instinct is to ditch them as soon as possible, but they have one thing that intrigues her more than wealth:

Fae magic once ruled the world, until it disappeared without a trace. Only myths of the magic wielders linger in their destroyed society.

The three prisoners claim to be fae, but she doesn’t trust them.

She doesn’t trust anyone.

Can Prince Ryder convince the pretty thief to lead them to the Hopeless City? Or will she kill him before they even arrive?

This is book one in a reverse harem series. Recommended for readers over 18.

Reading Order:
Hopeless Magic
Hopeless Kingdom
Hopeless Realm
Hopeless Sacrifice

It’s short, it’s simple it’s sweet. Bunny tagged me to read this one, she’s already read it so I went ahead and did that too. It’s free right now on kindle I don’t know for how long so puck yourself up a copy. Be kind and leave a review while you are at it.

So this is about Zakara who is a thief. She climbs the tallest tower with some hair.

Yep, your mind went right where mine did. But she wasn’t at the top of the tower she is climbing to get there. She rescues the fair, *clears throat* I mean the strapping young mem.

So I am not going to give a whole heck of a lot away the book is too short to really get into it. Short but amazingly sweet I think. This is a #WhyChoose book. So you know what that means.

I love Rio, I love his twin. I love Ryder, there wasn’t one I enjoyed over the rest and that is unusual for me. Generally, I can pick one or two that are my favs not in this book though. Nope, loved them equally, and was okay with that. I am going to give this one 3.5 stars, Rounding up to four bunnies, why, dreaded cliff hanger.

I am a selfish B though and I wanted more this story. So it was a good one for a Saturday I think.
