Dear Amy Sumida,
You have killed me, wrung me through the ringer and drained my emotions dry.
I have become such a fan of this series and it was all because of the first book. Now I just finished book number three and I am stunned. I laughed with you, I cried with you, I fell in love again and again with you. I don’t know how much more I can take. So many things happened in this book, V found out a few new things. Odin is now on my ‘oh my god if you don’t take him I will’ I love him. I love him so much I want to marry him.
I don’t know how this is all going to work out, I mean I am already on book three, and even knowing that there are 26 books that how is she going to get all her men?
It gives me anxiety. When I love something, I take slow and that is why I haven’t torn through every single book. I couldn’t do that and then find out I must wait, becoming a new fan was the best thing for me because if I had to wait between books and not know what’s going to happen, I would have died. I may already be dead after this book. My heart, there was so many ups and downs. There were two big scenes that just threw me.
Two that I am not going to say and give them away because it would ruin the whole book, but you know what they. You know what you did!!
If you are reading this and haven’t started Amy Sumida’s Godhunter series, you should. This series is an emotional rollercoaster. There are so many revelations, so many heartbreaking and heartwarming things. You find new loves, you stick with old ones. I love V and her friends, she’s badass with some wit.
This book had done me in so far, I am not going to tell you about it. Why? Because anything I say will ruin it. I don’t want to ruin it. Just know this, it’s so goo that I was up until 5 am. I haven’t done that in a long time.
It was so good that I had to roll over a few times, lay on the floor, sit in my chair. I moved around to keep myself awake just so I can finish this book. It was so good that when I woke this morning, I picked it back up and read the ending again just to make sure I read what I read and not just dreamt it.
Amy Sumida is an emotional sadist, she’s brilliant on her torture. You never see the feels coming until they have you tide to a wall and there are whipping you with their whip. Amy Sumida has very much made it to my most top ten favorite authors.
I’m telling you now if you haven’t started Godhunter do that now. I have giving you the link and it’s free!! So, no excuses.
