The Motion of the Potion by Killian McRae

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Age: 18+

Trigger: There is some force.

This was a re-release of Her Pure Souls series.

Everyone knows that love is blind, but even Riona Dade knows it’s supposed to be with a mortal. That’s true even if you are a witch with the ability to magically slay the scum of Hell. Plus, when you find out your ex-boyfriend was a demon, you should probably take your lesson about falling for the wrong guy. Probably. It’s a great theory, anyway.

Marc Angeletti, a piece of forbidden fruit with onyx eyes and a razor wit, can start packing his luggage for damnation now. Riona is… wow, but love isn’t really an option for a man who’s dedicated himself to the church. Too bad nobody told his body that. The more he and the witch battle the forces of darkness side by side, the harder it becomes to resist the pull he feels. The only solution is to be a sarcastic ass, and hope she doesn’t call him on it. Or worse, hope she doesn’t have a thing for sarcastic asses.

When Lucifer himself takes a personal interest in wooing the witch, the stakes aren’t the only thing raising. As long as Riona and Marc can keep things professional and north of the sheets, no problem. Too bad both of their compasses are broken where bedrooms are concerned.

Note: This book was previously released at Pure & Sinful.

I loved this book; I read it for the first time in 2017 and the audio after that. This is a fun, and interesting read with a few intense moments. I have meant to read the rest of the series, but I have a hard time reading on Kindle. It’s almost like technological ADD totally made that up, but I’m going with it. I wanted this on paperback, and I am hopeful if I can get more people to read the series I can convince the Author to grant my wish.

It’s about a Witch a Demigod and a Priest. They are tasked with sending demons back to hell. Riona was dating a demon for a while without knowing who or what he was. He locked her into a room, and she found that she was able to do magic. Her soul is pure, and that was the whole basis of this book. There are some real steamy moments with F/F scene.

I loved the characters in this book Riona was relatable. I really enjoyed her journey. The ending of this book broke my head and made me happy all the same time. That is a hard thing to do. Anyways, hopefully, one day I will get my wish and get this series on paperback.
